At Twin Pine, we are passionate about contributing to the betterment of society, and giving back to the communities in which we work. Our people want to make a difference and to help make the world a better place, through a number of CSR projects designed to support those most in need. Our commitment to society makes Twin Pine stand out in the boutique investment banking community.
We have given considerable thought to where we can help, where we can make a difference, and have chosen to focus on two of the most important social issues in this part of the world – education and livelihood.
Education
We believe that education is vital for the development of the human race and can build the stepping stones to social and economic viability across the globe. Even now though, a lack of opportunity together with unequal standards of education remains a major problem, particularly in developing and third world countries, and at Twin Pine we want to contribute towards the building blocks of education and to enhance life experiences for the children.
We help to provide opportunities by directing our donations and endeavors towards school supplies, promoting reading and encouraging extracurricular activities in order to help create better educational experiences.
Livelihood
Twin Pine values the importance of a sustainable livelihood for all that is integral to the well-being of future generations. We aim to inspire hopes, dreams, a fighting spirit and a better quality of life through initiatives that will create a positive environment for children and communities.
Our support covers areas that range from the promotion of good health and well-being to participation in sports programs.
Mobile Eyeglasses Clinic for Students in Rural Areas of Lao PDR
11th April 2017
In April 2017, Twin Pine Group, in collaboration with The Thai Red Cross society and The Lao Red Cross, funded the Mobile Eyeglasses Clinic for Students in Rural Areas of Lao PDR in Rural Areas of Lao PDR. 370 students from Pak Ngum and Xaythany Districts of Vientiane participated in the clinic, having their eyesight measured and receiving eyeglasses instantly.
Supporting Construction of Navamindrabopitr 84th Anniversary Building, Siriraj Hospital

In December 2017, Twin Pine Group and employees visited Siriraj Hospital to make a donation for the construction of a new medical center which H.M. Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej so graciously initiated and named “Nawamintr Bophit 84 Building”,
Supporting Surgical Cost for Children with Cleft Lip and Palate and Sponsoring Related Seminar

In August 2016, Twin Pine, in collaboration with Tawanchai Foundation and The Foundation of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, helped to fund operations for 40 children with cleft lip and palette.
Encouraging Livelihood through Sports
11th February 2015
In February 2015, we partnered with leading football clubs Lanexang United and EDL FC in the Laos Premier League to donate one thousand footballs to schools in Lao PDR. The footballs were distributed through The Ministry of Education to multiple schools in need.
Supporting Education Through Donation

In March 2014, Twin Pine funded an initiative for the Lao Red Cross via Thai Red Cross to support the purchase of sports equipment and stationery and the development of playground and library to schools in remote areas of Lao PDR.
Giving Alms (blankets) to 500 Novices at Pha-O Temple in Luang Prabang

On 29 th November 2018, Twin Pine Group gave alms of 500 blankets to novices and monks at Pha-O Temple in Luang Prabang to mark the occasion of the 8 th anniversary of the establishment of EDL-Generation Public Company. Pha-O Temple provides full board and education for orphans and underprivileged children in the Northern area of Lao PDR.
Helping Victims of the Laos Dam Disaster
14th August 2018
On 14th August 2018, Twin Pine Group presented a donation of 400,000 Baht (equivalent to 100,000,000 Laotian Kip) to the Thai Red Cross Society, to help people affected by the collapse of the Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy hydropower dam in Southeastern Laos on 23 rd July 2018.
Helping Raise Awareness and Supporting Individuals with Special Needs

Twin Pine Group supports and partners with the Rainbow Room, a special needs awareness center in Bangkok, Thailand, to raise positive awareness on autism and children with special needs through workshops and fun activities. We were on the road with the Rainbow Room volunteers in Lao PDR, Vientiane and Pakse in 2019.
